European Night of Museums

Events celebrating museums and museum heritage will be organized in 22 districts of the Republic of Moldova. Local museums will organize creative workshops, open lessons on the subject of preservation, development, and promotion of cultural heritage, theatrical performances, song and poetry recitals, painting exhibitions, and contests to emphasize the importance of museum and cultural institutions in the life of a community. Entry to museums will be free for all categories of visitors!

Kozlovna Ceska Pivni Restaurace

One can find Kozlovna pub-restaurant on 24 Pushkin Street. They serve both traditional Czech dishes and delicious grilled steaks and spit-roasted food cooked right before your eyes. Beer is certainly the main drink here – the light and brown branded “Velkopopovitsky Kozel”, very fresh draft beer supplied directly from the brewery, immediately after brewing. In the pub itself, beer is stored in ideal conditions for it – it does not come into contact with the air or other compressed gas, so it maintains its highest quality.

Covorul Dorului

Where can you see traditional rugs in one place? The Târgul Covorul Dorului celebrates the authentic Romanian rugs, of a UNESCO treasure. Visitors can discover the motifs and traditions of carpet making. The festival also allows people to see how Moldovans perform traditional customs to prepare for winter. Professionals and amateur art groups display their works, which are representative of Moldova’s diverse districts.
