Mărțișor
International Cultural Festival

Description
Do you know the legend of “Mărțișor”?
Mărțișor is the red-and-white symbol of spring, traditionally worn on the chest from March 1 to March 31. At the end of the month, it is hung on a tree and accompanied by a wish made in silence.
The “Mărțișor” Festival is an attraction for those who want to discover Moldova’s rich culture and talented artists. For two weeks, music and dance ensembles from the country and abroad turn the stage of the “Nicolae Sulac” Concert Hall into a true fairy-tale spectacle.
For more than 50 years, the Mărțișor Festival has honored this Romanian tradition through music and dance, with the contribution of renowned artists from Moldova and from abroad.
