Orhei and the Răut Valley

EcoVillage Moldova is located in Râșcova, a few kilometers out of Peresecina and is known for a community different from any other in Moldova. It is the only community in Moldova that has managed to creat a specific eco collective pursuing a sustainable lifestyle. Moreover, it is the first village in Moldova in which installed were the selective waste recycling bins. The whole idea of designing EcoVillage was born here. If you feel eager to experiment with organic gardening, seeing how constructions are made from natural materials, visiting the insects hotel, eating tasty vegan or vegetarian food, you better choose a trip to Rascova.

About this place

At EcoVillage, you can stay overnight. In addition, here is a horse sanctuary - for the horses that have been abandoned or saved from being taken to the slaughterhouse. The adults coming here with their kids have the opportunity to spend good time, practice some hyppotherapy and take care of them.
